"DIY Digital Preservation"

  4. Not Really DIY! Most of your components are bought in anyway.
  5. A couple of quotes Better to not go it alone. So we're really talking open source rather than home-grown-from-scratch solutions.

  8. Procuring communities instead of vendors In the end, the processes are not so different
  9. Levels of engagement The value of open source lies in the community which relies on contribution.
  10. Revisiting the idea of Corporate Memory This really needs an entire presentation in its own right - essentially it is about knowledge rather than objects.
